On 22nd January, 2015, students of classes 9, 10 and 11 got an opportunity to see the movie The Theory of Everything at the Satyam Cineplex, Nehru Place. The movie is based on the life of eminent physicist Stephen Hawking.
The film portrays Hawkings struggle and the hardships as he went through fighting his motor-neuro disease, and how he overcame the hurdles in his way to become one of the smartest minds in today's world. The film showed Hawkings determination, his never- say- die attitude, his will to survive and succeed in life.
Even after the doctors told him that he had only two years to live when he was 21, he chose to fight. Today, at the age of 72 he has the hunger and determination to arrive at The Theory Of Everything, which explains and links together all the physical aspects of the universe!
Hawkings story of triumph is an inspiration to everybody. All the students really liked the movie and we would like to thank School for giving such an opportunity. We hope that we will have an opportunity to see such movies in the future also. I would like to conclude the report with a beautiful quote from the movie which truly inspires us all There should be no boundaries to human endeavor. We are all different. However bad life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. While there's life, there is hope.
