Book launch by School Chairman Mr Goradia at the World Book Fair
A book launch event was held on 13 January 2026 at Bharat Mandapam to formally introduce and release a new book authored by our Chairperson, Mr Prafull Goradia. The book offers a thoughtful exploration of the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, highlighting his transformative teachings and their enduring relevance in the contemporary world.
The event was attended by students from classes IX and XI of The Indian School, alongwith teachers who actively participated in the proceedings. The interactive discussions during the launch provided students with valuable insights into the process of book writing, research and the articulation of ideas with clarity and purpose. The discourse also gave the students an introduction to Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, particularly his emphasis on discipline, strength of character and philosophy.
Teachers from various departments of the School engaged in meaningful interactions with the author, contributing to enriching intellectual exchanges. During the session, Mr Goradia shared his personal experiences as an author and underscored the importance of cultivating strong reading and writing habits, along with the need for value-based education among students.
