A two-day in-depth workshop on the Core- Skills of Communication and Collaboration was conducted by the British Council on 3rd and 4th August, 2017 at The Surya Hotel in New Friends Colony, New Delhi. It was attended by Dr. Smriti Singh and Ms. Chanda Sharma.
The workshop reflected upon communicative and collaborative skills of teachers as individuals and as teachers. Various ideas were discussed about how to integrate and develop inter-cultural communicative and collaborative skills into regular classroom activities. Numerous thinking activities were organised to explain the development of intercultural communicative and collaborative skills for all students including those with special and additional needs.
[gallery link="file" columns="2"]At the end of the two-day workshop, teachers were trained to collaborate with other participants to identify and create an action plan for a cross school project. A final reflection day has been fixed for 17th November, 2017.
It was a wonderful experience for us and we earnestly expect to implement the learnings in our day to day teaching.
