An informative power point presentation played in the background which named several careers within the three broad fields namely: Science, Commerce and Humanities. He gave detailed information of the career choices, available courses and the best universities. A few lesser known career choices mentioned by him were: Visual Merchandiser, Actuarial Scientist, Facility Management, Digital Marketing to name a few.
Mr. Chawla suggested that students must learn to build up a student profile, which includes a list of extracurricular activities, school, state, even national and international competitions and other accomplishments. Such a profile particularly helps students who are applying to foreign universities. He shared printed information about various career options for all three streams.
A well-conducted session interspersed with information and humour came to an end after a question answer round. He gave responses to all the queries of students and parents. Everyone was happy and appreciated our Schools efforts in organising an opportunity such as this.
