Childrens Day Assembly for classes I and II

Childrens Day was celebrated by The Indian School with much fervour on 14 November 2021, albeit virtually. The teachers of classes 1 and 2 spared no effort to make it a day to remember for the little ones!

A special assembly in place assured the children of their teachers love for them. A video message of the teachers holding placards, sent across a message to the children on how wonderful, brave, kind and amazing they all are!

The teachers regaled the students with an interesting quiz in which they were to guess the cartoon character. The joy was unparalleled! The parents could be seen enjoying as much, bringing to life the fact that theres a child in each one of us! Mr Sanjeev Choudhary, music teacher, enthralled the audience with some peppy numbers in his mellifluous voice. Ms.Bernadette Bedi's bewitching performance on the piano was just what was needed for the teachers to break into a jig, much to the delight of the children!

In sync with the Schools edutainment policy, a presentation on the significance and the reason for celebrating the occasion was shown to the children.

The young brigade dancing on the song Itni si Hassi, Itni si Khushi... was indeed a sight to behold. The assembly concluded with words of encouragement for the children by coordinator, Ms Shikha Sharma.

The bright happy faces of the virtual audience were a testimony to a job well done!
