Chunauti-2012 / 2013
Apeejay School, Saket hosted its annual inter-school competition, Chunauti on 26 April, 2012. The occasion comprised competitions in dance, drama, art, music, computers and vegetable/ fruit carving.
Students from our School participated in vigour with the motive of learning and as well as pitching to pick up a prize. Tejasvi Arneja and Devika Gupta of class 11 chose to contest in the section of the competition, named veggie art. They were given a task of creating any 4 animals from vegetables and fruit. The students underwent training in the art department for basic carving skills. At the event the students created an underwater scene showing several sea creatures happy together in their habitat. Thankfully, without gender issues or caste ones! Infact Tejasvi and Devika made a convincing case to take the second prize competing with 36 other schools! D.P.S Vasant Kunj came first and Tagore International followed us at third position. The experience was an elation for its win and its learning.
