Citizenship Programme initiative: Art Workshop at neighbourhood municipal school

Art education is very important for students as they develop confidence in their ability to learn new things. It also promotes risk-free exploration, and it is this freedom that inspires confidence. To promote the above, our students of class 9 took the initiative of organising an art workshop for the students of classes 4 and 5 at the MCD School, Sadiq Nagar on 9 August 2023. The theme of the workshop was Independence Day.

Naima and Suhana of class 9 taught the children to make badges for Independence Day. They used old brown paper book covers and newspaper. The young 'teachers' explained the concept of recycling while making beautiful badges. The children had an interactive, hands' on session, while enjoying the activity.
