Citizenship Programme-Shramdaan sponsors surgeries at Palna

On 17 April, 2018, at 9.30 am, Ms. Sangeeta Aswani accompanied Dhwani Arora, Rishika Chaudhary, Manvee Jain and Kashish Grover of class 10 to Palna. The children were carrying two cheques amounting to Rs. 25,000 from the proceeds of shramdaan, collected through the year, to support two orthopaedic surgeries. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"] We were welcomed by Director, Dr. Sandhya Bhalla, and were walked around the centre. After presenting the cheques to Dr. Bhalla, our students interacted with the little inmates who were occupied with their days activities of lessons and other activities. They in turn were delighted to spend time with our students who played with them for a while and distributed chocolates and biscuits. Our students also had a look at the room allocated for displaying the Vocational Training Programme products and volunteered to decorate the room with art.
