Class 1 excursion to the Lotus Temple

On 6 May 2026, 134 students of Class 1, accompanied by 7 teachers, visited the Lotus Temple on an educational excursion. The visit was organised to provide students with a peaceful and enriching learning experience while teaching them the values of unity, harmony, and respect for all religions.

The excursion began with an informative and interactive presentation in the auditorium, where the students learnt about the history, architecture, and significance of the Lotus Temple. They discovered interesting facts about its lotus-shaped design, marble petals, and surrounding water pools, which sparked great curiosity and enthusiasm amongst the children.

The students were warmly welcomed by representatives of the institution, who explained the message of universal brotherhood and the oneness of humanity. Inside the prayer hall, the children maintained silence and experienced a calm and peaceful atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on them.
