We would like to thank our School for organizing this amazing internship at Dharmpal Satyapal Group of industries, Noida. It was an excellent experience. Our internship started on 5 June until and continued until 7 June, 2014.
We started our orientation at the ayurvedic medicine manufacturing factory. Our instructor told us about the several herbs which help to assemble a preparation and we viewed the manufacturing processes. We started from the store where the raw material is stored. Our instructor explained how the various raw products are dried and crushed to make a preparation or end product i.e., the ayurvedic medicine. Our day was exciting and interesting. It had been something new.The next day, we visited the garment factory, where we saw the process of spinning yarn. This was followed by a visit to the masala factory. The first thing that caught our attention was the variety of enticing odours in the factory. Here we saw the process of salt manufacture.
The final factory we visited was truly awesome. It was a paper can factory. These beat plastic cans any day. The plant did not require a large number of labour. It was highly automated. The cans went through the process of capping at the end too.Our instructor was very interactive and he gave us lot of information about the plant. Our internship ended with a meeting with the director of the company. He asked our names what we liked seeing at the factories.
