Class 2C shares its environment concerns with their peers in Vietnam
The students of class II C of The Indian School were excited to reach out to their counterparts at the Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province in Vietnam on 10 July 2019.
The eagerness was clearly evident in the eyes of the young learners as the Skype session commenced amidst much delight.
The vivacious young Indianites enumerated steps to save the environment through recycling materials, saving water, etc. They proudly shared information on the different activities conducted at School during Environment Week celebrations in July.
The Vietnamese students too readily spoke on measures adopted by people in their town to save the environment and the steps taken to spread awareness about this critical global issue.
Besides expressing concern over the environment, students of the two countries also discussed the prevailing weather conditions and the time difference.
The interactive session helped build confidence and concern for a common cause. It was particularly interesting to observe the extent of eagerness amongst our students to know more about the children across the screen, as it were, in a Vietnamese town.
