Class 2C special assembly on Good Manners

‘Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.” Clarence Thomas

On July 10, 2024, the stars of class 2C presented a delightful skit titled "The Magic of Good Manners" at a special assembly. The skit, divided into three parts, emphasised the importance of being polite, using "please," "thank you," "excuse me," "sorry," and "you are welcome" in everyday interactions.

The performance was designed into three distinct scenes: at a friend's house, in the classroom and on the playground. Each scene demonstrated how good manners  enhance relationships, resolve conflicts, and create a positive environment.

Students delivered their roles with enthusiasm and clarity, showcasing their understanding of the key messages about respect and kindness. The Magic Fairy, a central character in the skit, strung together the scenes by highlighting how good manners can act like magic, making interactions pleasant and harmonious.

The skit concluded by reaffirming the importance of being polite and courteous in our daily lives. The audience applauded  the actors for their efforts in delivering an engaging and educational skit which was not only entertaining but also educational.

Good manners not only reflect our culture and value system but also nurture empathy and cooperation among friends and family. By promoting polite behaviour consistently, we aim to instill lifelong habits that prepare our students for a future where respect and professionalism are paramount.
