Class 3B holds a special assembly on the Importance of Reading

On April 24, 2024, the students of class 3B  gathered for a special assembly in celebration of Literary Week. The theme of the assembly revolved around the importance of reading, highlighting its significance in education and personal development.

Aavyan, anchor of the assembly, skilfully incorporated various elements to engage the audience. Kathan 3B opened the session with an inspiring quote by Neil Gaiman, "A book is a dream that you hold in your hand", setting the tone for the event

Lavanya Fulfagar introduced the theme with enthusiasm, emphasising reading as a magical journey. Yuvraj, news reporter, shared updates on recent award-winning books, emphasising the power of storytelling.

Hitarth led a prayer, expressing gratitude for the gift of books and invoking blessings for wisdom and learning. A skit followed, featuring students portraying characters who passionately advocated for the joys and benefits of reading.

The highlight of the assembly was the presentation, featuring students engrossed in reading, accompanied by an inspiring song. This visual representation captivated the audience, reinforcing the message of the assembly, vis., the importance of reading. 

The event concluded with the entire audience singing, ´Aam ke aam’ symbolising unity and celebration. The assembly left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to embark on their reading adventures eagerly.

Through engaging presentations and heartfelt performances, the assembly successfully conveyed the message of the transformative power of reading, leaving the students inspired and motivated to explore the world of books further.
