Class 5 interacts online with peers at a school in South Korea

On 28 July 2026, Class 5 participated in an engaging virtual Skype session with its peers at Uichang Elementary School, at Changwon, South Korea. The collaboration was coordinated with Ms Mindeulre (Min), a teacher at Uichang Elementary School. Located in Changwon, a beautiful city in the southern part of South Korea near Busan and Gyeongju, the School partnered with our Class 5 students in an enriching cultural exchange.

The theme of the session, "Places to Travel in India and South Korea", encouraged the students from both schools to explore and present some of the remarkable tourist destinations in their respective countries. Through informative and visually appealing presentations, the students showcased famous landmarks, natural wonders, cultural heritage sites, and unique travel experiences that make their countries special.

Representing India, our students took their Korean counterparts on a virtual journey across India, highlighting the diverse landscapes of North, South, East, and West India, along with the nation's rich cultural heritage, colourful festivals, delectable cuisine, and practical travel tips for visitors. The students from Uichang Elementary School also delivered an impressive presentation introducing the scenic beauty, historical landmarks, cultural traditions, and popular tourist attractions of South Korea. The session concluded with a virtual group photograph, capturing a memorable moment of this international collaboration.

The experience offered students an opportunity to learn beyond textbooks by gaining insights into another country's culture and geography while presenting their own with pride. Such international exchanges continue to strengthen our students' confidence and prepare them to become responsible global citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
