The Indian School participated in the 1st TCA Jayant Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament, hosted by Gyan Bharti School from 23 to 27 March 2026. The tournament brought together teams from across Delhi and the NCR, fostering a vibrant and highly competitive sporting atmosphere.
Our Junior Boys’ football team, comprising students of Class VII, represented their School with commendable zeal, discipline and determination. The team members were as follows.
Aryan Singh, Maakli Manocha, Rachant Singh, Inesh Mondal, Arnav Chaudhary, Aarav Chaudhary, Yash Singh, Tejas Nautiyal and Rudra Ghai of VII A; Gurshan Singh Bindra, Jishnu Chattopadhyay and Sanchit Chauhan of VII D.
The tournament was held in a knockout format, and our team competed in two matches. Throughout their participation, the young players exhibited remarkable enthusiasm, discipline and a strong sense of unity on the field.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the tournament proved to be an enriching learning experience. The students displayed exemplary sportsmanship, resilience and teamwork, standing by one another through every challenge. Their positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and unwavering commitment truly reflected the essence of sportsmanship.
