Class 8 Hindi Declamation competition on the occasion of Hindi Vishwa Hindi Diwas

On January 11, 2024, a special assembly was organised to commemorate 'Vishwa Hindi Diwas,' featuring a Hindi declamation competition for the students of class VIII. Each section had two participants who showcased their skills at declamation. The topics for the competition included 'Jaisi Kathni, Waisi Karni,' 'Jahan Chaah Wahan Raah,' 'Hindi Bhasha Ka Mahatva,' 'Asafalta Safalta Ki Sidhi Hai,' 'Paisa Bahut Kuch Hai Per Sab Kuch Nahin,' 'Abhyas Manushya Ko Paripoorn Banata Hai,' 'Samachar Patra Aur Television,' 'Vigyan Amoolya Nidhi,' and 'Digital Yug Me Pustakon Ka Mahatva.'

The judges at the event were Dr Shikha Sharma, Head of the Hindi department, and Ms Vidusha Sharma, Sanskrit teacher. They assessed the participants based on content, clarity, pronunciation, voice modulation, adherence to the time limit, and the overall impact of their arguments. Individual awards were presented to the speakers. Aarnav Singh (VIII B) secured the First Position, Radhika Adlakha (VIII C) secured the Second Position, Shanvi Divya (VIII B) secured the Third Position, and the Fourth Position was achieved by Devyansh Tewari (VIII D).

This event provided an excellent platform for students to express their opinions, enhance their public speaking abilities, and foster critical thinking skills. The students actively participated in constructive discussions, gaining valuable insights from each other's perspectives.
