Class 9 visits national level exhibition organised by the DST

The National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC) under INSPIRE-MANAK, organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and NIF- India, took place on 10 October 2023, at the Main Gymnastic Arena, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, near Rajghat. This event proved to be a profoundly enlightening experience for the class IX students of The Indian School, who were accompanied by their Physics teacher.

The NLEPC provided a unique and enlightening opportunity for students to witness a diverse array of science experiments, all of which were crafted by talented students from across India. Among the numerous captivating exhibits, the Carbon Condenser model stood out as a true marvel. This innovative creation showcased its remarkable ability to transform harmful carbon emissions, such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide from car engines or candles, into usable fuel. This demonstration not only piqued the interest of the students but also shed light on the potential of sustainable solutions to combat environmental challenges.

Another equally enthralling exhibit was the Tree Shifter, which allowed trees to be uprooted and replanted in different locations without the need for deforestation. This ingenious concept underscored the importance of preserving our environment and maintaining green spaces in urban areas, aligning perfectly with the need for sustainable development.

The exhibition was an amalgamation of scientific ideas and creative genius.
