Classes 4 and 5 craft special rakhis for our brave jawans
To celebrate the upcoming Raksha Bandhan the young Indianities of classes 4 and 5 participated in the workshop “Bond of Love” Rakhi Making Activity on 3rd August, 2024 in the School auditorium. The workshop was conducted by Ms Rajni Jain, expert teacher at Pidilite.
The wonderfully curated rakhis so made will be presented to our brave jawans, who are deployed in forward posts in Ladakh, Kashmir and North East. This initiative of our School is a token of gratitude to these bravehearts who stay apart from their homes and families to guard us and our motherland.
Students made rakhi bands based on themes like the tri colour, our superheroes and patriotic symbols. They also wrote short messages for the jawans, thanking them for zealous service and sacrifices.
Three rakhis were chosen as the best and their artists received an art kit from Pidilite as a reward. The winners were Shanaya Bhatiya of 5E, Hitashi Thakur of 4E and Lavanya of 5B.
This creative session filled our young students with patriotic feeling and love for our great nation.
