Collection Drive for The Earth Saviours' Foundation on 19 September, 2015.
On Saturday,19 September, 2015, The Citizenship Programme organised a collection for The Earth Saviours' Foundation (TESF) alongside the Shramdaan counter. Parents of PS/PP were asked to voluntarily get ( new or used) bed linen, blankets, clothes, stationary and dry food items like biscuits, rice, flour and pulses. The response was overwhelming. Members of TESF were present and collected a tempo full of goodies given so generously by our parents.

Our step towards Women Empowerment was also appreciated as the packaging handcrafted for the Shramdaan candles and soaps are now made from recycled chart paper by underprivileged women who are thus able to supplement their family earning.
The feedback on the soaps and the new range of floating candles was extremely encouraging and many parents were seen deeply engrossed in devouring the details of our mission in our new printed hand-out.
We hope these steps instil the value of sharing with creativity in our children from early on.
