Communication is a Craft

An interaction with the Chairman, class 8.

On 23 December, 2013, Mr. Prafull Goradia gave us some of his precious time to share with us his views on the Importance of Communication Skills . Using examples from his own experiences, he enriched our young minds. He highlighted some important points that one must take care of while speaking or making a speech on stage.

The importance of good diction, pronunciation, vocabulary as well as the right body language, as it were, goes a long way in engaging the listener on your viewpoint. He said that one must simultaneously interact with the audience during a speech so the the audience is active . We should present plenty if interesting examples so that those sitting around remain interested. We were left in a state of introspection on the ideas we were introduced to. Chairman sir had taught by example!
