As a part of the School’s ongoing initiative to promote sports awareness and provide experiential exposure to competitive athletics, students from Classes VI to XI visited Arun Jaitley Stadium to watch matches of the inaugural Delhi Premier League (DPL) on 19 and 21 August 2026.
On 19 August 2026, students witnessed a gripping contest between North Delhi Strikers and South Delhi Superstarz (Men’s Fixture), observing professional athletic conditioning, tactical field placements, and match strategies under pressure. The fixture offered practical insight into real-time decision-making and on-field temperament at the elite level.
On 21 August 2026, they watched an inspiring encounter between North Delhi Strikers and East Delhi Riders (Women’s Fixture), showcasing high-level women’s cricket. The fixture underscored technical precision, physical agility, and competitive tenacity, fostering greater appreciation for the women's game.
Beyond the thrill of live sports, the excursion served as an enriching outdoor learning experience, deepening students' analytical appreciation of professional cricket and reinforcing the values of discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
