Earth Day in Pre primary

Sensitising children at an early age about the environment builds an orientation for responsible future citizens.

Earth Day is observed on 22 April every year. The event is held worldwide to increase awareness for the preservation of the environment.

The Pre Primary department of The Indian School observed Earth Day on 20th April 2018. The students were introduced to the significance of the occasion and why it is observed. Teachers discussed with students how we can save Mother Earth and engage students like them in making a difference.

Rhymes, songs, videos and craft were a part of the days activities.

The students drew and painted posters with the slogans, Save Water, Plant more Trees and Care for our Planet Earth.

The day was thus filled ended with much learning and awareness laced with fun.
