Forceful, elegant and persuasive speech has been the hallmark of good orators. The literature enthusiasts of K R Mangalam World School hosted 'Eloquence, on 31st July 2015, to nurture oratory skills by providing participants with a platform to showcase talent and creativity. The event was divided into two categories- Tramedy and Hot Pursuit. Chaitanya Arora of class VIII E, Aatif Hussain of class IX-A and Priyansh Agarwal of class IX E represented our School.
The programme opened with an interesting twist to original literary characters, humour as a theme and innovative dialogue-delivery brought alive by the junior students. Tramedy required participants to use their skill to present a tragic speech in a comical style from any known English play. Hot Pursuit expected participants to interpret the title of a famous English play/ poem/novel in a comic manner.
