Excursion to a grand art and dance festival

“Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will.” – George Bernard Shaw

On 12 March, Ashmin and Deepanshi of Class XI and Kashika of Class IX, accompanied by Ms Pooja  Gangani, our dance teacher, visited the Habitat Centre to witness the grand celebration a spectacular three-day festival, 'Ramayana Chaitravali', held from March 10th to 12th, 2025, at the Stein Auditorium at 7:15 pm on the 3 evenings. The festival was held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Prasiddha Foundation.

On the final evening, the theme of the performance was 'India After Gandhi', choreographed by noted artist Ms Prathibha Prahlad. The atmosphere was vibrant, enriched by classical music, stunning visuals, and soul-stirring performances, making it a truly immersive cultural experience. Various significant moments in history  like The Dandi March and the assassination of Gandhi were also portrayed with great sensitivity and artistic depth.

Overall, it was a very enriching and memorable experience for our students. It was a rare opportunity to witness such a magnificent celebration of art and tradition.
