Excursion to Waste to Wonder Park for class 4

A group of 150 students of class IV visited the Waste to Wonder Park on 30 January 2020.

The visit aimed at enabling the students to appreciate the judicious use of scrap and other waste. The uniquely themed park features life size replicas of the iconic Seven Wonders of the World, created from waste products like scrap parts of automobiles, metal fans, rods, nut-bolts, iron sheets, non-functional appliances, broken metal utensils and pipes.

Located near Nizammudin Metro Station, the Park was inaugurated by Home Minister, Rajnath Singh on 18 April 2019.

The young visitors were excited to see the exquisite display of the seven wonders, intricately designed. They also witnessed the use of solar energy generated through the solar panels installed in the park itself.

The students basked in the morning sun and enjoyed themselves in the play area there. The sumptuous snacks added to their enjoyment making the entire trip an experience worth remembering!
