Exhibition of paintings of Maharana Pratap commissioned by the Prafull Foundation.

Our School is hosting an exhibition of 40 colour paintings on Maharana Pratap specially commissioned by the Prafull Foundation. These are paintings by local Udaipur artists and depict the major events in the life of the historic hero.

Maharana Pratap personifies courage and a refusal to submit to an aggressor at any cost. It is the School's view, that by holding such an exhibition, students will imbibe the values of valour and patriotism associated with the Maharana. It would teach about his exploits to protect his motherland, his austere way of life and the sacrifices that he endured to realise freedom for his people. Always unbending he dared to take on mighty armies; a David in the face of Goliaths.

In his speech, the Chairman of our School, Mr. Prafull Goradia, who conceptualised this Exhibition, said that, by inculcating ethical values in students through live examples of our heroes, the school attempts to bring alive our past. In the process the children would also learn a chapter in the History of India. He emphasised that had there been only 4 or 5 Maharana Prataps in our country, the history of India would have been very different. We would never have had to bend before the onslaught of foreign invaders.
