Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in Pre school

'My life is My Message' Mahatma Gandhi.

Pre school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with enthusiasm on 1 October 2021. The assembly was virtually attended by the parents and showcased the values beliefs dear to the Mahatma Gandhi, for the benefit of the young students.

Gandhiji was an iconic leader whose principles make for a better world.

The little students of Pre school put together an admirable performance as they enunciated his teachings.

The special assembly commenced with Mahira Gupta of PS Hercule singing Bapu's favourite bhajan, 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram'.

Kriyesha Anand of PS Capella spoke to share some interesting facts from Bapu's life and his invaluable contribution to the freedom struggle.

Next, Ahilaan Nair of class PS Capella, dressed as the Mahatma, entreated everyone to work together for the welfare of our country.

Arzaan Hashmat of PS Delphini said that we should always speak the truth and never tell lies as telling the truth makes us more confident.

Tejas Yadav of PS Agena told the gathering that Gandhiji always advocated the learning of vocational skills like carpentry, stitching, etc for a better living.

Anwita Prakash of PS Kokab spoke about making India clean and green to highlight that cleanliness is essential for physical well being and a healthy environment.

Naisha of PS Hercule spoke about Gandhiji's principle of non-violence and that we should never fight, rather that we must be kind to everyone.

Bapu's three monkeys depict the importance of seeing good, hearing good and speaking good. The audience was overwhelmed by the rendition of Gandhiji ke Bandar Teen by Delisha Chabbra of class PS Kokab.

In conclusion, the assembly reiterated the timeless values of Bapu and the need to free our country from hunger and poverty.
