Ganesh Visarjan in Primary

The Ganesh Visarjan ceremony was recreated at School on 5th September 2017. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"] A handcrafted clay image of Lord Ganesha was carried aloft in a procession to the cries of Ganapati Baba Mourya and drumbeats, by a large group of enthusiastic children dressed in ethnic wear and matching step to song! The procession wound its way from the auditorium, through the corridors to the makeshift pool of water where a single image was immersed as a token of our concern for the environment. The narrator on the occasion was Aarav Mudliyar of V-B. The clay idol of Ganapati was sculpted in our School art department. Ms. Purnima Dwivedi.
