Glitch Please I- a computer fest
We attended a 2 day IT festival hosted by the computer club of Air Force Bal Bharati School. The festival named Glitch Please I on 7 and 8 October, 2013 comprised varied events designed to draw out the talent of every computer geek!
8 schools from across Delhi participated in the event; namely, The Navy Children School, Delhi Public School Mathura Road, Materdei School, Gyan Bharati School, Apeejay School Saket, besides the hosts and us.
The event was divided into 4 categories.
Quizador- Each team was provided with set of 50 pen and paper questions
Troll Treasure- Teams were provided with puzzling leads to explore the depth of the hard drive. The softwares offered were Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Free audio- editor.
Challenge Accepted- Participants were given simple decryption questions.
Trim The Pile-Here complex data was to be analysed and presented in the best possible way using Microsoft Office Suite.
Our participants were Quizador - Vikramaditya (XI) , Shlok Tyagi(XI); Troll Treasure Siddhant Arora (XI), Samarth Kakkar(X); Challenge Accepted Piyush Nanwani(X), Mohit Singhal(X) and Trim The Pile Rhythm Narang (VIII-C), Samarth Saxena (VII- D).
All participants were awarded certificates of participation.
