The virtual session began with Aprajita Sen Gupta warmly welcoming the Polish students and their teacher. Vihaan Navin presented a power point presentation on the dances, food, places of tourist interest and national symbols of India. It was an engrossing presentation and we saw the little hands clapping across the screen! Mihit conducted a quiz on festivals, famous monuments and our national symbols. Ms Butowt translated the questions for the benefit of her students. Interestingly, the Polish students were able to answer all the questions. They also appreciated the presentation prepared by our students.

Next, each student from the Polish school gave a brief introduction about himself/herself. The Polish students enjoyed talking with their Indian counterparts. They were eager to share their culture and learn more about India, and the Indian students were thrilled to make new friends and connect with peers from another part of the world.

These types of virtual interactions provide invaluable opportunities for children to learn about different cultures, gain international experience and widen their horizons. Overall, it was a wonderful session for everyone involved.

The session concluded with both sides thanking each other for the wonderful experience and the students left with a newfound appreciation of the diversity in the world around them.
