Our football team U-12 (Boys) prepared for the Goa Football Festival 2017 in great enthusiasm. It was a large tournament where as many as 52 teams were participating from all over India.
As preparatory matches we played friendly matches with Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, Amity international School, Saket, and DPS International School, on our School grounds.
On 1st May we flew to Goa with Ms. Deepali Gupta. Our team was very excited about this event, right from the beginning. Since we landed a day before our match, we got a chance to go shopping and sightseeing. The venue of our scheduled matches was Calangute Football Stadium, Goa.
[gallery link="file"]Aarush Roy (6-D) got a chance to lead the team as Captain. We played matches with First Kick Soccer School, Coimbatore, the Youth Soccer Academy, Surat and Ranjeet Football Club, Aurangabad. None of the teams were able to score any goal.
The entire series were filled with learning and exposure for our young players of 12 years.
Each player received a memento and a kit. Certificates are expected by post.
