On 8 July 2026, 40 students from classes VII and VIII, accompanied by two teachers, visited the National Science Centre. The STEM session on “Celestial – Hide and Seek” was an enriching and engaging learning experience for the students. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of space science through interactive activities and real-life demonstrations.
During the session, students actively participated in various hands'-on activities that helped them explore the fascinating concepts of celestial bodies. The session beautifully explained the science behind phenomena such as solar and lunar eclipses, the movement of the earth, and the positioning of the sun, the moon, and the earth. Complex concepts were simplified through models and demonstrations, making learning both fun and meaningful.
Students also explored the gallery, where they observed different exhibits related to space and astronomy. This exploration sparked curiosity and encouraged them to ask questions, think critically, and connect classroom learning with real-world applications.
The session was highly interactive, visually appealing, and well-structured, keeping the students fully engaged throughout. It not only strengthened their conceptual understanding but also developed a deeper interest in science and space exploration. Overall, the experience was both educational and enjoyable, leaving students inspired and eager to learn more about the mysteries of the universe.
