The Indian School observed Hindi Sahitya Saptah from 27 to 31 July 2026 in great enthusiasm to promote a love for the Hindi language and literature while encouraging creativity, communication and self-expression among students. Through the week, students from Classes I to X participated in a variety of engaging activities, including poetry recitation with props and costumes, puppetry, storytelling, doha recitation, creative storytelling through bookmarks, travelogue writing, speech competitions, illustrated dialogue presentations and colourful advertisement design. These activities enhanced the students' linguistic abilities, imagination, confidence and appreciation for Hindi literature.
The celebration was further enriched by inspiring sessions conducted by 3 distinguished guest speakers. Dr Prabhat Ranjan encouraged students of Classes IX and X to explore literature, writing and emerging digital platforms with confidence. Dr Prachi Kalra captivated students of Classes IV to VI through an engaging storytelling session using creative props and folktales, while Colonel Sanjay Chaturvedi motivated students of Classes VII to XI to embrace discipline, lifelong learning and solution-oriented thinking.
Hindi Sahitya Saptah concluded on a highly successful note, leaving students inspired and fostering a deeper appreciation for the richness of Hindi language and literature.
