Sunbeam School Annapurna, Varanasi organised the 3rd Edition of Aspirations, an inter school online literary challenge, on 25 July 2023. A team of four talented students, Misha Singhal (class VII), Nyssa Sharma (class VIII), Adrika Chowdhry (class VII), and Darian (class VII), eagerly participated in the event titled "CONTEXTUALITIES" - The Living Newspaper Project: English Experimental Short Docu-Play Enactment.

Misha and Adrika were tasked with rewriting newspaper stories in an engaging manner, without altering any details, focusing on different characters. Nyssa took on the responsibility of creating and delivering an imaginary weather report for June 2023. Darian wrote and performed a song on current affairs, based on an incident that took place in June 2023.
The students diligently prepared for their roles and submitted a video of their living newspaper performance, on 18 July 2023. Their exceptional entry was recognised among the top six, and on 25 July 2023, they got the opportunity to perform live.
The team was awarded the Best Delegation Critics Choice Award.
The students showcased their creativity, and their ability to adapt to the challenges of an online platform was evident as each one of them performed with ease and elan.
Their success in the competition is a testimony to their hard work and dedication.
