Honour at the 4th Delhi Public School Mathura Road Debate
The Indian School participated in the 4th Delhi Public School Mathura Road Debate conducted on the virtual platform on 26 November 2021.
Aarohi Singh of class 4 and Arnav Gupta of class 5 ably represented our School at this forum. Around twenty students from ten schools across Delhi-NCR participated in this online debate.
Aarohi Singh did School proud by securing the Third Position ( Individual) in the debate. She made her case for the motion, EKAL PARIWAR, KHUSHIYON KA AADHAR.
The debate saw an eminent panel of judges appreciate the thoughts and arguments of the nascent speakers. The jury included Ms Sangeeta Verma, Permanent Assistant Professor at Kamala Nehru College, Delhi University and noted poet, writer and anchor, Mr Deepak Gupta.
Chief Guest, Smt Bharti Joshi, HOD, Hindi Department, DPS Mathura Road, appreciated and applauded the efforts of the young debaters.
The debate was well-received. It provided young students with an opportunity to air and share their opposing views on the prevailing family system.
