The 13th Junior Flash Inter School Competition was held at Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School on Wednesday, 25th January 2017. Students of 16 prestigious schools of Delhi demonstrated not only their computer skills but also their creative skills and team spirit. Participants were between classes 2 to 5 and the events were:
1. Picassian (Movie Maker) - Haritmaa Sharma and Avishi Singh of class 5 won the 3rd prize in this contest.Their movie was based on the story of the turtle and the hare.
2. Its Frippery World (Fancy Dress) - In this event, the participants were to dress
and pose as something or someone from the field of IT and speak about it. Ansh Singh of class 2 dressed up as the App Paytym and confidently recited a poem relating to it!
3. Off-the-cuff (Extempore on Computers and IT) - Bhumika Rustagi of class 4 spoke on the topic Amazon Kindle Oasis. The time allotted in this event was 2 minutes. 4. Turtles Journey (Creating an Image using LOGO) This was an MS LOGO contest in which Rayan Singh and Krish Mehrotra of class 3 participated. The topic given to them was My Room. 5. Penguins Art (Creating an Image using TUX Paint) - Tania Kanwar of class 2 participated in this Tux-Paint Contest. The topic given to him was Birthday Party. 6. Brush Stroke (Creating an Image using MS Paint) - In this MS Paint event, Krunal Patel of class 4 and Gaurangi of class 5 on the topic given, Republic of India. 7. Pick Ones Brain (Quiz) - Dheevam Singh of class 4 and Uday Soni of class 5 took part in this challenging quiz event. This event had a preliminary round with 35 MCQs relating to Computing and IT. Our team qualified in the preliminary round and was one of the 7 teams selected for the final round.
All the participants from our School performed confidently.
