On 29th August 2016, 4 students, Faraz Ali and Angad Singh Sandhu of class XII, and Rishika Makwana and Arya Khanna of class VIII went to participate for the annual astronomy quiz at the Nehru Planetarium in Chanakya Puri. They were accompanied by their teacher, Mr. Pallab Roy.
We reached the Planetarium at 8.30 am and the event started at 9 am. Round 1 consisted of a written test of around 25 questions about space and its laws. At 9:45, the participants participated in an oral round until 10:30 am. The questions were interesting and entreated the young science learners to explore the deep recesses of all that they had learnt. A tea break followed from 10:30 to 11 am.
