Honours at 'Celebrate Yourself', an Inter school film making and art competition
Our School participated in an inter school competition conducted by the International CHINH India Kids' Film Festival at the Sadhu Vaswani International School, Girls on 31st August 2016.
The theme of the event was Celebrate Yourself.
There were two main competitions
Film Making
Art Work
Film Making In this competition, students were required to make a movie of under a minute. Of the entries, the films of 8 schools were shortlisted in the elimination round. These were showcased on the day of the competition.
Two of our students films were chosen for the final round and received awards for Best Editing.
Film 1: Tick, a film celebrating the journey of life by perseverance was made by Aueshic Das (XII-B)
Film 2: Delhi Darshan a documentary on the various landmarks of Delhi was made by Himanshi Saini (XII-C) and Jagmeet Kaur (XII-B).
Art Work - Prabhsimran Kaur (XI-B) participated in the Art Work event, for which she designed a tee shirt. She secured 2nd position in this competition.
All the entries were judged by SVISG- CHINH MEDIA CLUB. The award for the winning entries were based on the following parameters: basis of idea, visual language, sound effects, camera, editing and overall impact. These are to be uploaded on the CHINH EARLY EDUCATION WEBCHANNEL ( www.chinh.in) and will be screened at venues of the INTERNATIONAL CHINH INDIA KIDS' FLM FESTIVAL from 9th 14th November 2016.
