Honours at inter school fest

Our School participated in the Annual Inter School fest at Gyan Bharti School on Saturday, 5th August 2017.

16 students represented our School. Students from various other schools also took part in the competitive events which were open to students from classes 9 to 12. The events were as follows:

1) Gloria Humanitas.

a) Art illustration and calligraphy-The theme was struggles of the Indigo producing peasants

b) Diary writing-The theme was Gandhi and the Champaran Satyagraha. c) Clay modelling -The theme was Gandhi and the Champaran Satyagraha.

d) Jigyasa quiz- This was based on general knowledge questions and current affairs.

2) Mnemosyne.

a) English Debate The topic was, 'This house believes that the curtailment of freedom will hinder progress.'

b) Poetry writing- The topics were given on the spot. 3) Commerce Conclave

a) Traders trade - The mock stock for Commerce and Economics students.

b) Mix it up - An advertisement act by classes 11 and 12 students.

Mirambika of class 11 received the 2nd prize for Diary writing. Lokesh and Altamash of class 11 got the 2nd prize for Clay modelling.
