Honours at inter school Language Fest
On 11th August 14 students of our School participated in a Language Fest at Delhi Public School, R.K Puram. The Fest comprised of 4 events in 2 languages. The chief guests at the fest were Padmashi Padma Sachdev and Dr. Gireesh Pant, Head of Department of Sanskrit at Jamia Milia Islamia University. Ms.Mridula Tiwari accompanied our students to the competition.
A team of 10 students competed in Kahani Manchan. It was an event for students interested in Dramatics where 17 schools participated and our team secured the third position. Rishabh Khanna was named Best Actor. DPS Faridabad bagged the first position and DPS Dwarka secured the second position in the same event. The students of DPS Faridabad enacted a Bengali classic whereas DPS Dwarkas presentation was named Nimantran. Many plays like Jamun Ka Ped, Ande Ke Chilke , Chief Ki Dawat etc. were performed by the other participants. Our students who participated were Raghavendra Singh Gulia, Arya Khanna, Vidit Sharma, Kush Kalra, Mayank Ahuja, Dhruv Rathi, Khushi Wadhwani of class 10, Himangi Srivastava, Rishabh Khanna of class IX and Pratayaksh Epari of class XI.

A team of two students Gayatri Munjal (VIII) and Harshit Pant (XI) competed in the event titled Kavita Paath and secured third position in the junior and the senior categories, respectively. The event was judged by Dr. P.C Tandon and Dr. Sarashwat Manishi. Gayatri recited the poem Rashmirathi and was commended during the final ceremony.
A team of two, Aadi Narayan (VIII) and Adrita (IX) competed in the Sanskrit debate held at the Fest.
