Honours at inter school literary event

Anushka Saxena of class XI-A participated in an event named "Supernatural Elements in Shakespeares Plays" at Goenkan Grandeur 2020-21, an inter school competition conducted online by G.D Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj. Participants were required to send in a video presentation on any one of the topics provided to them. The last date for the submission of entries was 31 January. Narration accompanied by the use visuals or a slide show to enhance the subject was the brief provided to the students. The topics for class XI were: 1. Witches, ghosts, apparitions and hallucinations in Macbeth, 2. The ghost of King Hamlet, insanity, murder and suicide in Hamlet and 3. The storm and demon possession in King Lear. Anushka chose to make a video on the supernatural elements in Shakespeare's Hamlet. Her voice modulations along with an impressive PPT helped her secure the Second Position in the event.
