Students of our School participated in an inter- school math competition at Apeejay School, Saket on 27 July, 2017. They participated in events such as Puzzlemania, Origeometry, Mathematics' relay, Crossword puzzle, Quiz and Mathematics Extempore.
Our students bagged prizes in the following events:
Origeometry- Second prize-Ryan Singh - class IV and Uday Rustagi - class IV Quiz- Third prize- Gitansh Satija- class XI
[gallery link="file"]Here, it is important to note that Ryan and Uday were trained by their seniors of class VIII, Jagmeet and Arnav who took great pains to train them in the steps involved in crafting a mathematical shape using origami. The shape which they chose was a modular cube (regular hexahedron).
The winning students were extremely excited about receiving the trophy and anxious to share the news with their seniors who had trained them! It was a great collaboration of senior and junior students and a classic example of Peer learning.?All the participants received participation certificates.
