Panorama 2020,an inter school organised by DPS Kalyanpur from 7 - 10 October, gave the students an opportunity to revive the spirit of science in them. The host school conducted a variety of events in the different subjects like Science and Technology, Literature, Music, Art etc. As many as 25 schools participated in the event Science and Technology.
Harshit Verma and Aryan Singh of class XII-B participated in the event Speaking Mind which was conducted on 9 October via Zoom. In the event, the participants were given a topic and asked to prepare a presentation and also answer questions relating to the topic they had received.
Our students were given the topic Neuralink- Breakthrough technology for the brain. They described Neuralink as the technology of the future and talked about Neuralink Corporation which is an American neuro technology company founded by Elon Musk which develops implantable brainmachine interfaces.
Karan Gupta and Dhruv Sharma of class XII participated in another event Innovatech conducted online on 8 October. Each team was given 10 minutes to showcase its ideas in a presentation. Our students were given the topic- UV MASK. They discussed the use of the mask to kill the deadly COVID-19 virus present in the air and explained how the mask can make use UV light to kill the virus while preventing it from leaking out. Our students shared many ideas relating to the topic which can be further implemented to make new inventions and innovations
Our students secured the Third Position in both the events and our School was adjudged Overall First Runner Up in the event Science and Technology. The competition helped the students think beyond academics and gave them an opportunity to indulge in a fruitful discussion. It was an enriching experience where the students got to learn about upcoming technologies of the future.
