Honours at inter school Tech symposium
The students of The Indian School participated in the Annual Tech Symposium organised by Scottish High International School. Various competitions were conducted in the online and offline mode on 2nd and 3rd of November 2024.
Our School team, comprising of Aryan Sehgal of class 8B, Arnavjeet Singh of class 8C, and Aditya Pathak of class 8E, secured the First Position in an online event “Reelcraft”. The competition challenged the participants’ creativity, ingenuity, and expertise in graphic design through diverse topics.
Our junior team took part in an exciting quiz titled “Quizzard”, designed to test their knowledge in information technology. The team, comprising of Kaashvi Mehndirata of class 6B, Udyan Goel of class 6C and Avika Bansal of class 6D, secured the Third Position in the competition.
Shiksha Dwivedi of class 10A participated in “Picturesque” online, in which she secured the Second Position.
Ankur, of class 11A, took part in the online event "Kryptos", a thrilling treasure hunt-style competition that saw participants eagerly solving intricate clues to uncover hidden treasures. Similarly, Aaryan Gupta of class 12A and Pragun Bhola of class 9E, enthusiastically participated in "CodeEclipse”, a challenging competition designed to test their logical programming skills. This event offered the students, a platform to demonstrate their coding expertise and problem-solving abilities, though they did not progress to the finals.
A team of four participants, comprising of Vansh Sharma, Rishietdeep Singh and Samiya Khurana of class 10A and Paarth Sadhwani of class 10D participated in “HackTrack”, which involved innovative thinking and execution, and while they did not make it to the finals, they gained valuable experience and insights for future challenges.
Kartavya Sharma of class 8D participated in “Symphony”, in which the students had to remix the given melody. Ansh Singh of class 10A participated in “Enigma”, an online game. Prabhleen Kaur of class 12B participated in “Pixel Perfect”, a photography event.
Another team of five members, comprising of Abhiuday Katiyal of class 11C, Ishaan Sharma of class 12A, Vasu Arora of class 12 D, Garv Chaturvedi of class 12C and Saaim Akhtar of class 12D, participated in “Bladestorm”, an online gaming event. Aditya Anand of class 9A, Naman Shandilya of class 9B and Aarav Kumar Jha of class 9 A, participated in another online game “Mine Wars”.
Through their participation in Shistech 2024, our students enhanced their essential skills of creativity, problem-solving and collaboration. They demonstrated their talents across a range of tech-focused events, refining their expertise in graphic designing, coding, IT and innovative thinking. This experience has expanded their perspectives and equipped them with the tools to tackle future challenges in the tech industry.
