The first round of the debate was a preliminary round where the topic was International Education Networks are Key Aspects for Indias Future. Saumyaa and Avantika successfully qualified this round to reach the finals. As it turned out, history repeated itself, and as in the recently held Dr. Amidas Goradia Debate, this final round saw our School and Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer competing against each other once again!
The topic for the final round was A Transformed India Needs Transformed Individuals with Exposure to Cultural, Political, Social and Economic Diversity of the World. This was followed by a block and tackle round, wherein one speaker from each team spoke on the same topic, changing from opposition to proposition instantly. Our team secured Second Position and Saumyaa Saxena took the award for Second Best Speaker.
Ms. Radhika Prabhaker.
