Birla Vidya Niketan (BVN) hosted two-day event Utsav on 17th and 18th August 2017. An inter-school fest, several schools from Delhi-NCR participated in it.
The two-day event comprised competitions in music, dance, drama, computer programming, Psychology, Biology etc.
Our School participated in most events, namely:1. Chemistry-Hands' on Display- Jatin Gupta (XI) and Rhythm Narang (XII) presented an experiment on Limonene.
2. Faraday: Experimental Skills in Physics-here Gitansh Satija (XI) and Kshitij Mohan (XII) won the gold medal!
3. Avantika Chodha (XI) and Vatsala Banerjee (XII) participated in the Psychology event where they presented a PPT onthe relevance of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the 21st century.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="2"]4. Janis Oberoi (XI) and Shweta Singh (XII) participated in the Biology Symposium where they spoke on Bioluminescence.
5. Akshat Sharma (XI) and Simran Narula (XII) spoke on Indo-US relations in the Commerce Symposium.
6. Tarun Singh Rana (XII) and Harsh Gupta (XII) showcased their skills in the IT programming competition.
7. Dhriti Chatterjee (X) accompanied by Sehaj Singh (XI) on the tabla won the gold in the category Hindustani Classical Vocal (solo). Dhruti sang the Raag Jog.
8. A team of eight students Shayan Sabharwal (VIII),Vedanshi Sagar (IX), Arya Khanna (IX), Raghavendra (IX), Aryan Chanda (IX), Paramraj Singh (IX), Kush Kalra (IX) and Vidit (IX) won the gold for their Nukkad Natak. The topic was "Gandhi ki vichaardhara kitni prasangik hai".
