Honours in inter school Commerce competition

It's rightly said "If you want to grow, you have to do something different from the majority of people."

Our School participated in an inter school Commerce competition, 'Tagged', organised by Tagore International School, East of Kailash, on 4 November 2022. 30 schools participated in the event. It was named ' Tagged' as it involved tagging some novel and brilliant business ideas for the judges.

The competition was divided into three categories- social entrepreneurship, innovation STEAM and business entrepreneurship. Kirtida Aggarwal XI C, Manya Arora XI C and Mannat Suri XI C, took part in the ' Social Enterprenuership' category, where they pitched their product 'envicot', based on the theme a commercial start with a sustainable end'. It focused on making cots, bunks and stools in the most sustainable way.

In the category ' Innovation STEAM',Aarush Roy XI B, Darsh Verma XI B, Aadyant Sood XI B and Kumar Ritovash XI A, participated and presented their app 'Summatom'.The app aims to teach children the atomic numbers and masses of elements through interactive puzzles.Our team bagged the coveted Second Position in this category.

Shamit Sharma XI C, Arnav Agarwal XI C, Saurabh Gupta XI C and Chinmay Mishra XI A, took part in the 'entrepreneurship category'. They pitched the product 'heartly', an appto detect cardiovascular diseases. It focussed on solving problems such as lack of regular health check ups. The pitch was followed by a question and answer round and a meaningful feedback session by the judges, in all the three categories.

The competition exposed students to the business world as they got to present their innovative ideas . It was a great learning experience altogether.
