Independence Day celebrations in Pre primary

Where each bud blooms in its true colors, Where each day is a celebration of Unity and Harmony. We are proud to be the children of that land of festivals, holy rivers, sacred shrines, lush green valleys and history of diverse cultures.

Keeping this in mind and as an intrinsic part of our Sanskara Syllabus, the children of Pre School Kokab celebrated the free spirit of Independence Day with enthusiasm and joy on Tuesday, 14th August 2018. The area was ablaze with the colours of the national flag and was decorated with Independence Day craft made by our little ones ( tri colour kites, balloons, flags etc)

The assembly began with Kaushiki and Pranshi greeting the audience and sharing the significance of Independence Day. Little Ayesha surprised everyone with her confidence as she spoke a few lines and sang Saare jahaan se accha.

The children worked very hard to put up a good show. They learnt their dialogues well, came dressed up as national leaders, drew and crafted the national symbols and enacted the roles assigned to them with confidence and poise. The choir children sang inspirational songs like I salute my flag, We shall overcome , nanha munna rahi hoon, etc, to light up the patriotic instincts of their peers sitting in the audience. The assembly ended with a foot-tapping group dance by the children to Jai ho. A lively performance, enjoyed by one and all.

To conclude, Head Teacher, Ms. Ritu Singh applauded the efforts of the students and inspired them to be independent, confident and proud Indians. Finally we all stood for the national anthem.
