In this day and age of globalisation, countries strive to enrich and extend their relationships with other countries. The Republic of Korea and India jointly achieved this aim through a friendship quiz - THE INDO-KOREAN FRIENDSHIP QUIZ.
The 2nd round of THE INDO-KOREAN FRIENDSHIP QUIZ was held at the Korean Cultural Centre and here 10 students each of 10 different schools qualified. Of these 100 students only 4 qualified for the final round of the quiz. These 4 students qualified at 2 separate levels 1] Written questionnaire 2] an audio-visual level.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]The main objective of the quiz was to promote the culture of the partnering countries. Participating students read about Korean culture to enable them to get an insight into their rich cultural history and diversity. They were given short training in Taekwondo, a martial art of Korea.
The students were also given a chance to view some of the literature in the Library of the Korean Cultural Centre. They also got a chance to tried on the Hanbok, a traditional Korean costume worn at major ceremonies.
