Inter class Debate
On 10 January 2024, an inter class debate was organised for the students of class 8. 2 students participated from each section to showcase their debating skills. The topic of the debate was, ‘Is modern social media making us less socially active?’ The participants presented their arguments and counterarguments in a structured and persuasive manner.
The judges at the event were Vice Principal, Dr Anu Singh, and Head Teacher – Primary, Ms Vandana Tewari. They evaluated the teams on content, clarity, pronunciation and voice modulation, adherence to the time limit and overall impact of their arguments. The speakers were awarded individually. Parth Takkar (VIII D) secured the First Position, Kashika Bhardwaj (VIII E) secured the Second Position and the Third Position was bagged by Aarnav Singh (VIII B).
It was a great opportunity for students to express their opinions, improve their public speaking and develop critical thinking skills. The students engaged in healthy discussions and learnt from each other’s perspectives.
